I know it has been a couple of weeks since my last posting and I apologize for that.  The reason for my absence is because I have spent the last twelve days with three perfect angels under the age of thirteen.  In the foreseeable future I will be posting the second annual project I worked on with these little pieces of my heart.  Any who, back to one of my latest finished projects.  On this particular job, at times, I did experience a bit of creative blockage.  The plus was that this particular client had inventory from their previous residence, which was a bit of a two edged sword in regards to blending their very modern pieces in a very traditional home.  Usually that is not a problem for me as I love to play with transitional and eclectic aesthetics.  The one thing that I was very excited about was working with a color that symbolizes trust, loyalty, confidence and intelligence. That color would be, blue.  FYI, the color blue is also very beneficial for the mind and body.  This client already had some beautiful art to work with.  I  just needed to find the right walls to to showcase their splendor.  I would say 60% of this project was finding the perfect space for their current art and home accents.  I simply had to review what I could use, edit and then go out and start hunting for the right pieces to make this already beautiful home a semi-minimal tranquil sanctuary for this fabulous executive.
